Reading the manual it seems like both performance and patch should be selectable with 1-8 keys when in bank. But this seems only to work with performances. Have I missed a method to change patch inside bank? It feels kind of frustrating to press the encoder down every time I do want to load a patch in a domino ![]()
You may not be missing a hidden shortcut so much as a mode. On the DMNO the numeric keys get remapped depending on which layer has focus, so it is worth confirming you are actually in patch mode rather than performance mode when you press them, and checking whether holding a shift or bank key first changes what 1-8 address. If neither does anything, the practical workaround for live use is to save the patches you reach for as performances in the same slot order, so 1-8 effectively become your patch buttons for that set. Not elegant, but it saves the encoder press every time. It would also be worth putting in Feature Wish List, since direct patch recall from the numeric keys reads like a firmware decision rather than a hardware limit, and those do get revisited. If anyone has tested this on the newest firmware it would be good to know whether the behaviour changed.
Hello there,
I am having the same issue here and to me it looks like a bug. Loading patches using the numeric keys seems impossible here. It is a bit frustrating as it seems to be an obvious bug in a common workflow.
@cloinc there is an coming very soon, and it’s already with some testers. In it is patch browsing using the P1-8 and faster loads without delay artefacts, more patch memory and some preset management quality of life improvements. @Infested-Alien I think is one of them. It won’t be long before it’s up
Great to hear
Looking forward to it and congrats on the DMNO On system.
THIS IS AWESOME! Thanks for the update – really excited for more patch memory : )
As I test this update I can tell you it’s now working as a dream with the upcoming firmware ![]()
That was a feature I really wanted on the DMNO. @udo-audio yes thats correct! And many thanks for inviting me for the testing!
great to hear an update is around the corner! thanks for continuing the improvements!
Beside that good stuff the Super 6 oscillator mode is just amazing! ![]()
