I’m wondering if others are seeing this: it sounds to me like the first delay heard when sending to the delay is the original signal before being damped. This makes it sound like there are two instances of the original sound rather than one, with damping being audibly applied to repeats after the first one. Is anyone else seeing this?
In a send configuration I would expect that some combinations of send level and DMNO level in the mixer section would result in a louder first repeat than the dry signal (although not undamped, I’m just talking about volume of repeats), but I do agree that it seems to be happening at fairly modest send levels.
Totally hear this. Annoying to the extent that I do not use it delay in most cases
