Hey there, sorry for the double post, I made a mistake in the previous video. Because it’s easier for me to demonstrate what I mean rather than to explain, here’s a video: [https://youtube.com/shorts/ifE8wX0ZcH8?feature=share](https://youtube.com/shorts/ifE8wX0ZcH8?feature=share)
Basically I am wondering why LFO1 is apparently starting every note at a different point in the phase, although it’s set to “reset”, resulting in an offset of notes when playing chords. This happens with both oscillators (in the video I’m just using DDS1).

I followed the steps laid out in your video but wasn’t able to reproduce the issue on my unit - my Super 6 appears to work in the way you are expecting it to i.e. when all notes are played at once the per note LFOs are all in sync. The per voice LFOs differ in phase only if I intentionally arppeggiate / strum the chord.

Just for a sanity check, maybe test it out with a different keyboard just to rule out your current controller keyboard isn’t sending out some odd sysex/cc messages to the S6. If it’s not the keyboard, best create a support ticket. Hope this helps

I already received an answer from support about this:

> **LR PHASE** and **PAN** are two independent settings and **LR PHASE** will still impact the phase of LFO 1 when you enter non-binaural mode in which case the same phase will only be applied to every other voice (12 non-binaural voices, but only 6 LFO 1s, one per two non-binaural voices). In order for the LFO 1 modulation to be identical for all non-binaural voices, you have to first ensure that there’s no phase offset dialed in in binaural mode and then you can adjust the **PAN** setting to taste. Please also note that **LR PHASE** is set to about 50% for the init patch, causing the LFO 1 modulations to sweep from left to right in equal amounts.

So the order in which you dial in the LFO and/or switch to 12-voice mode from an initial patch is important. If you start with an initial patch, go to 12 voice mode first, then dial in the LFO, it’s not going to work because initially, LR Phase is set to 50%.

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but is it possible to use LFO 1 as a traditional, monophonic modulator? For example if I wanted to modulate the pitch up a 5th with a square wave, and have the modulation be free running, and affect all oscillators equally regardless of note timing and articulation. Basically like LFO 2 but having access to the different wave shapes. Thanks in advance!

This can be done via the DDS Modulator. Set the DDS Modulator _LFO_ Slider to position 7, set the target selector to _Both_. In the _LFO 1_ control panel, set the _Mode_ to _Free_. For the same effect to apply equally to both audio channels, set the _LR Phase_ to 0.

To give the impression of actuation via AT, maybe set the _LFO 1 Delay_ slider to Max (c.10s delay) and then negatively modulate this parameter directly with the AT mod source, possibly adding a little direct negative modulation via the Velocity also.

Thanks for the reply.

I got my S6 desktop a few days ago, updated to latest firmware and everything is sorted.

Pretty enamoured so far!
