Throwing a bunch of patterns at the Digitakt II and trying to stitch them together. Well, mostly trying to find a good workflow for sampling the Gemini. Alternating sample playback with two tracks, like 2-voice polyphony, works well so samples can play out — nice if this could be handled in firmware. Sounds great trond! Nice little composition. So that’s kind of “multi-tracked” right? The Gemini playing with a sampled version of itself? Sounds like there’s more than two layers going on anyway… ---

Thanks, its several 20-40 second stereo samples of the Gemini including delay from the synth. The Digitakt II is merely doing simple sample playback with the exception of delay on one transition. ---

Hello @trond.olsen, I just wanted to say that I found your SoundCloud account several months ago, while searching for Super Gemini sound examples. I had previously fallen in love with the Super 6 sound from various artists I found online, but the pool of SG demos out there where small and somewhat underwhelming to me. Once I found your tracks, I listened to all of them (on repeat, many times) and I just wanted to say that you entirely sold me on the SG! Fantastic work (composition and sound design) on all of these! My SG should arrive in a few days — thanks for helping me decide! ---

Thanks! After spending three years with the Super 6 and one year with the Gemini I’m still surprised by the gamut of sounds it produces. When I stumble upon something interesting I usually do a recording and upload to soundcloud for my own reference. I’ve not yet seen larger arrangements by other musicians on youtube etc. showing the full potential of the synth, but I guess there are professional musicians employing it now. It would be nice if they dropped some hints where 😉 Hope the synth brings you much enjoyment! Cheers. ---

Using LFO2 as random is quite interesting as a modulation source. Sequenced and sampled some solo voices with Digitakt II, all while sync, cross mod, and more received modulations from LFO2 and ENV1. Currently obsessed with detuning notes a few cents which produces some really nice harmonies / ringing. yeah sounds lovely to me, i’m an absolute freq so consider tunings relative. are you detuning individual notes somehow, like with aftertouch or something, or is it one of the detune parameters or drift or something, giving it all that subtle wonk? ---
