hey all, thinking about getting a dmno (don’t own one yet) and wanna check one thing first. i’m after a cs-80 / cs-70m style feet thing: jump each layer up/down by octaves while notes are held, controlled from ableton.

from the manual + the cc map thread, osc coarse only goes ±7 st (cc 30/106) and bend tops out at ±12, so it looks like i can’t get past an octave per layer.

anyone found a workaround?

- does the octave switch send/receive any cc?
- does it shift held notes, or incoming midi?
- any hidden per-layer octave/transpose param?

would help me decide, thx 🙏
