So after updating to firmware 1.0 my S6 is not doing any mod matrix routings anymore. I can select a destination, set an amount, but the sound won’t change. Even though my S6 was working perfectly, -i’ve even made a nice soundset with it- It took more than two months of pointless back and forth, and now customer support are calling it a ‘hardware defect’. Has anyone else experienced this problem or are there other people with this issue? I’d really like to know. ---

Have you tried loading pre 1.0 firmware to see if that corrects your S6 issue ? ---

Wish i could, however they made it so you cannot revert from 1.0 to older versions ---

Are only user-assignable mods affected? Strange fault if fixed mods works as expected. ---

Yes, only routings in the mod matrix don’t work. Hardwired routings on the panel, like sending pitchbend to filter or osc frequency do work. velocity to vca, straight from the front panel via the toglle switch too. That’s why i’m convinced it’s a faulty firmware update. The error is somewhere in the v1.0 part, so doesn’t get overwritten when i tried 1.1 or 1.2, so that didn’t help. I also tried reformatting the disks before putting the firmware and data on it, but the problem is clearly now in the fpga inside, ---

Out of curiosity, what are the serial numbers of the synths having issues? I’m hesitant to upgrade, but if my synth was from a different batch I’d feel more willing to try
