# Why update to V0.30?

From the description, most improvements of the last firmware are for the desktop users. So, is there any substantial reason to go from 0.28 to 0.30 at all? i don’t have a backup to roll back to if i regret it.

Probably none, id rather revert to 0.26

I stayed on 0.28 with my keyboard. Hoping more bugs will be fixed for the next update.

I updated to 0.30 on my keyboard S6 recently because I was annoyed with the Keyboard Octaves not saving to patches in firmware 0.27
