Feature-Wish: Mod Matrix "Wiggle Destinations"

Dear UDO Team

I really enjoy the first hours with the DMNO! It takes me to unfamiliar places but still it can be a chameleon when putting in the work

One thing I stumbled on a few times which felt.limiting: I’d love to assign e.g. filter envelope to filter fm, as with FPGA’s this synth is audio rate mod nirvana..

I have an implementationd suggestion: instead of selecting the destination from a list in the menu, I can push the destination encoder to put it in ‘detect’ mode and wait for me to wiggle a control on the front panel.. e.g. the Pitch Mod Encoder for Both Oscillator’s Cross-Mod. Thr displayed description could be fairly cryptic and appear as an additonal dot at the end of the standard list of destinations (as a trade off to stay in scope of the current implementation), e.g. BoMoCr or some such in this Example. Could be a table in the manual to “decode” cryptic abbreviations if necessary.

Yeah this sounds a bit like on the Super 6 etc where you would go to the mod matrix, select a modulator and then adjust the destination parameter to build an assignment to that parameter. I also agree and would love to see this feature and hoping it can be unlocked in a firmware update
