No note number modulation?

Hey there, I recently purchased a super 6 and am loving it so far but I am missing key tracking on the keyboard for the mod matrix! Things like delay time, feedback, crossmod, lfo rate, and all are pretty significant items to keytrack.

Based on some posts from a couple years ago it seemed that this was requested but never went anywhere and now am seeing the new series of super Gemini and super 8 have this feature by default.

I can’t really justify that much more money just for key tracking and am hoping if there is any update on if this will be coming to super 6 keyboard? Also If it would be possible to manually select which source to replace that’d be amazing!

Been interested in this since I bought the synth. Probably the one thing I would fix if given the chance.

So +1!

S6 does have Note mod source button and seems like you can assign it to LFO1 rate, crossmod, delay time/feedback already, unless I’m missing something. At least mod assign does work when you press Note button and move one of those other controls.

Not on the keyboard model. Only the desktop model has that

That makes it an even weirder omission on the keyboard model

Any word from @udo-audio on this? I upgraded to poly aftertouch but now I’m feeling a bit of buyers remorse considering how this feature is on every other keyboard/desktop synth they produced

would be great if this could be added! Bend + Bend - are not that useful.. One of these could be change to “Note Number”. Perhaps envelope 2 could be made into a Mod Source also?

It’s still very much a feature I’ve been waiting/hoping for considering it is already a working feature on the desktop unit and the discrepancy it causes with patches between devices is a little frustrating. I rarely if ever use the pitch bender for anything other than what is assignable on the performance controls already.

Ideally I will be using poly aftertouch / expression input for those types of modulations. One of my favorite types of modulations is note Number modulation of lfo rate In my opinion can sound very satisfying. While I would prefer the source note number modulation swapped in and overall pitch bend bend used instead I’d also be happy for a way to have either osc 2 in lfo mode or the poly lfo I’m willing to accept whatever limitations that means as it would be the same on desktop anyway.

Should be something simple like hold pitch bend plus on boot to switch it and save the setting.

also hear me out on this as while I’m not familiar with the architecture of the synthesizers i know they are fpga based so I imagine it wouldnt be too crazy to bring the desktop unit more in line with the keyboard unit. For example the mode switch that I mentioned above could be applied to both. Also save the preset with the associated control scheme. If the preset was made pre-change just use whatever is loaded as the current setting on the synth. This would solve a few issues:

-Presets now work as expected across devices with settings maintained between devices types

-Opens up the possibility of using the keyboard model with the desktop model in a poly chain or poly unison mode with consistent modulation types
