Hi,
I’m having a specific issue with my Super 6 after updating to firmware v1.6.
The Pulse Width (PW) modulation on DDS 1 is completely unresponsive, while it works perfectly on DDS 2. Here is what I’ve observed and already tried:
The Issue:
-
With DDS 1 selected (Mixer 100% left) and SUPER set to OFF, moving the DETUNE/PW slider does not change the sound at all (even on Square/Pulse waveforms).
-
When SUPER is turned ON, the slider works fine for Detuning, which means the physical slider itself is sending data.
-
However, when SUPER is OFF, the PW remains static regardless of the slider position.
What I have tried so far:
-
Firmware Update: Re-installed v1.6 and performed a factory reset (Holding PATCH 8 on power up).
-
Waveform Restore: Restored the “FactoryWaveforms” folder to the WAVES directory as per the manual (using the PATCH button unlock method).
-
Calibration: Performed the MIX/TUNE calibration.
-
Initial Patch: Tested on a clean initial patch (SHIFT + MANUAL).
-
DDS Modulator: Confirmed that moving the LFO 1/ENV 1 sliders in the DDS Modulator section also doesn’t affect DDS 1’s PW, even when the source switch is set correctly.
It seems like the PW signal path for DDS 1 is software-locked or failing to map correctly. Since the slider works for Detune, I suspect it’s not a hardware failure of the fader itself.
Has anyone else encountered this or found a fix?
Thanks for your help!
