DMNO bugs & feature suggestions

I received my DMNO yesterday and am very much smitten with it, it sounds phenomenal and is a very deep instrument.

I do have a couple of remarks for the developers and feature requests:

The aux out doesn’t work when set to ‘main mix’ and DMNO mode 1, single is used? I would expect it to copy the main out, but this only works in other modes. Seems like a pretty obvious bug to me.

It also doesn’t have a volume control. would be nice to have.

Freerunning oscillators would be of course the main, if not only, vital request. The basic sawtooth sounds very odd, even compared to the supers. I suspect this is to do with it’s always resetting nature.

Sync/restart setting for lfo1 for classic mono duties

A HP and LP filter for the delay settings, to allow for dark subtle echoes and taking out the rumble.

Arpeggiator for the cv out only:

(This one i suspect few people have thought of yet, but it would be an immensely cool feature.)

An option to have an arp that is only affecting the CV out, not the onboard notes/voices. This way you could play in a more polyphonic style on the DMNO, while an external mono eurorack synth is being arpeggiated. Should be amazingly useful for layering.

suggestions for extra mod destinations:

_FX send amount!!!

_Osc 2 to filter amount

_Env2 attack and Env 2 release

_DMNO 1/2 panning

negative modulation possibilities of pitch and crossmod. Some modulation routings only give you a positive value option, unlike on the supers. especially for pitch and crossmod this isn’t ideal.

extra mod sources:

random , a random value generated on each note press (this thing’s all about chance and probability isn’t it?)

CV output suggestions: ARP, as mentioned previously, and Expression, so it will follow an incoming expression pedal or ribbon

Lastly, an option in the voice menu of the lfo2 page to invert polarity of the leftmost slider that assigns AT to lfo speed (so pressing harder will slow it down instead of up.

Found one more bug: when naming a patch or performance, DMNO1 button should insert a space, and DMNO2 button delete. Instead, DMNO1 button will delete forwards, deleting the next character, instead of inserting a blank space.

Gotta say this thing sounds amazingly good. One more QOL request: there is an auto patch naming function when saving. Clearly it is just 2 list of words that get randomly combined. Still a clever feature. However the list is a bit short, and very much in a certain style.

Could there be an option where there is a simple text file on the DMNO HD, where the user can add his own words to this list?
