Hi - I am using midishaper VST to add to modulation options via Midi CC (i am used to a Waldorf quantum which has a huge set of sources and destinations onboard).
(a) Have other people used externa midi, and if so, does the screen keep doing rapid live updates (or is there a bug/flaw in my particular unit)?
(b) If it is not a flaw in my unit, does anyone know if there is a way to disable the constant updating of the screen whenever an external; midi CC change happens - i don’t need to see the CC updates in real time (and it makes it impossible to see live updates with the knobs because the screen is flickering through the various changes from the external source)?

The screen keeps showing the midi modified parameters for me as well, and when modulating several parameter it flashes back and forth. I agree that it would be very helpful to be able to turn it off so its possible to use the synth and see what youbare doing while its being modulated.
It looks like it is on the list of things to be fixed - got this reply from George at UDO:
“I can confirm that the behaviour you have described when the DMNO receives MIDI CC messages does not only occur with your instrument, but that all DMNOs currently respond in this manner. This is on our list and will be improved with a future firmware update. The same applies to a clock sync option for the LFO.”
