I’m not sure if I’ve seen this before in other synths -
I’m wondering if there would be a way to add a release amount to the aftertouch - so that when pressed, rather than immediately releasing upon the loss of pressure, it descends back with an adjustable rate.
I have been thinking this too and would very much like to have this feature. I have come up with a slightly convoluted process of using AT to control ENV1 sustain with the release all the way to maximum and hold, attack and decay at zero. You can then map ENV1 to different destinations and if you release the keys very quickly you can get a bit of this effect going. In this setting I use ENV2 to control the filter section. Increasing the ENV1 decay gives you a smoother release at it introduces some lag but also doesn’t sound so good on some destinations like the filter. Still experimenting.
