(RESOLVED) Super 8 v1.33 voice issue

UPDATE: Resolved by holding MANUAL UPPER + HOLD LOWER for 5 seconds.

Hey all, just upgraded my Super 8 to the latest 1.33 release - the synth arrived with a note that this is one of the first things you should do. I know this release brings support for the additional voice cards, which I do not have yet. After updating I am now getting silent/dead notes every 4-5 notes I play. I assume this is the firmware trying to use the voice card slots that are not populated. I had assumed this firmware would be compatible with 8 voice super 8’s but apparently not.

Has anyone else experienced this? Was this user error?
If not, can someone please share a previous firmware version? UDO does not have a historical list of versions, at least anywhere I can find, so I am stuck on this broken firmware. I emailed support, but have a session today and this synth was supposed to be tracked heavily. Really hoping someone can help me get unblocked ASAP.

Hey there. New Super 8 owner here.

Had the same issue today. Just press and hold both „manual lower“ and „manual upper“ buttons on the left side. I think it recalibrates the voices,…not sure. Solved the issue for me :slight_smile:

Thanks for your response - tried this and it did not resolve for me - every 4-6 notes is still silent.
UDO if you are reading this please make a historical archive of all firmware releases available to your customers - if this exists, its not easy to find.

Okay, the key command for anyone in the future is MANUAL LOWER + HOLD LOWER - not MANUAL UPPER. Resolved
