SG Crackling noises in Delay and Failing to boot?

Experienced 2 weird issues today that I hadn’t experienced in previous weeks of extensive playing.

  1. When booting up today, it would only boot into update mode as if I was trying to update it. So the only way I was able to get it to boot was to reinstall the latest firmware. Weird!
  2. After getting it to boot up finally, I notice crackling noises happening. And upon further investigation notice that the crackling noises are coming from the delay. If the delay time is turned all the way down, no noise. However if the delay time is turned all the way up or to a longer delay time, the crackling noises repeat as if its a delay line happening inside the circuit or something.

Anybody else experienced this? Has the support team heard of any issues like this? I’ve had good luck trouble shooting Gemini issues myself lately, so hopefully this is something of a bug in the firmware and not a hardware issue!
