I have owned the Super Gemini for over a year. When I first got it I received it non-working due to inductor and power supply issues. George and the team were very, very fast to respond and sent me a new power supply - which I installed and it has worked like a charm ever since.
Then I connected the NDLR from Conductive Labs and started using that with the Low Frequency Expander (LFE) by Yorick Tech - THE RESULTS ARE HEAVENLY!!!
If you have never hooked up your Super Gemini to hardware units or if you want to use Ableton Max for Live to do the same (lots of programming needed) you are missing out. I like to use the DAWless hardware setups and manually tweak things which is why I got the Super Gemini. FWIW I also own the CS80 and I really, really like the dual panel layout - and yes - there are sounds you can get on the Super Gemini and expressions that have that same vibe, especially if you use a Lexicon 224 or the Chase Bliss recreation the CXM-1978 - that hits the spot!!!
Cheers!
