The way cross mod is now is not very usefull IMO
Enabling thru zero modulation would open this beautiful synth to the real FM kingdom.
Imaginne for instance assigning ADSR 1 to cros mod and obtaining proper FM index cranking sound.
Would be amazing, and been FPGAs should be possible via firmware update.
And …wait… Through zero wavetables!!
Sweet dreams are made of this…
Or maybe phase modulation on cross mod?
Maybe this would be more easy to implement in a wave table and have a similar sound to thru zero FM in most cases.
