When using Poly 1 & 2

have just received my UDO DMNO from Thomann, and unfortunately, I noticed that the unit appears to have a problem.

When using Poly 1 & 2 mode with one module enabled, after playing three consecutive notes (whether the same or different notes), the synthesizer stops producing sound for the next two key presses.

This issue occurs with the factory presets as well as with a newly initialized patch, so it does not appear to be related to any specific preset or sound configuration.

Could you please advise me on how to proceed? Should I perform any additional tests, or would this require a replacement or technical inspection?

Is there possibly some confusion here between play mode, voice assignment, and the DMNO buttons? I’m asking because “one module enabled” isn’t really how I think of things, and you don’t mention the play mode at all (maybe it’s what you mean by “sound configuration”), and it’s possible you’re confusing the DMNO select buttons with module enabling/disabling.

The DMNO select buttons can only be thought of “enabling” a module in the play mode “Single”, otherwise I think both modules are always active.

If I’m mistaken about the confusion, my apologies - I know it’s frustrating to have someone assume you don’t understand something you do, in fact, understand. I just thought it was worth clearing up the terminology here. It sounds possible that, if you’re not in the first play mode, you might still be cycling between modules, and not realize that because you think the module select buttons are “enable/disable”, which they’re not.

I understand your point.

This issue occurs on the first module in Single mode, with every factory preset programmed in Poly format.

The second module works perfectly fine.

I suspect this may be a hardware issue, and I’m currently waiting for the support team to get back to me.
