I am having trouble with UDO Super 6 not changing patch. Specifically when i am using it as part of a midi chain/midi loop environment. I have local set to “off”, as if it is on there is phasing/double triggering.
Everything else is working fine, i can select and use all the buttons for the global settings and can select different wave forms in the “Wave” mode selector. However when i am in “Patch” mode, all i can select is the bank and the patch buttons make no selection.. the light wont change or indicate i have selected a different patch of 1-8.
Are you booting in a specific mode (like patch mode to manage presets from a computer)?
I definitely encountered this but I can’t recall what steps led me there. Rebooting usually fixes the issues but it’s quite annoying. Also be careful, when it’s in that weird state, if you long press on a preset like you would to save it, it erases the preset that’s there (but won’t load). Learned this the hard way.
hey there, not booting in a specific mode. However i do run the Super 6 with local control off - this to not have double triggering off notes within my midi loop. Multiple other synths playing nicely in this configuration.. those recently found that presets are not recallable in this setting. With local on, presets load as normal, so thats all good.. Weirdly when with Local Control off, if i am running a patch with long release and try to make it change patch, audio cuts as if it is trying to load the new patch.. but not joy! The LED does not even switch if i select other patch numbers.. Going for a factory reset now.. Will see if i have any joy.
