Decksaver for DMNO

Hi, I m a happy owner of the DMNO. I like its unpredictably and the filters sound amazing. Like all of you I am hoping the next firmware irons out some of the bugs (eg fine tune tempo) and introduce a good seq function. I would also like some more arp possibilities and delay times to be increased. I’ve also noticed I have had to reboot/reset a few times after exploring the feedback possibilities as it seemed to effect all the presets after. A reset put it back to all good again,

However, the main point of my first post is to request this fine community to ask Decksaver to create a protective cover for the DMNO. I reached out to them and they said they would consider it if enough people asked. I love Decksaver covers (a little expensive) but they look great and I can look at the synth whilst at the moment my dmno is under a black plastic cover and I would like to gaze upon its beauty when I am not using it. All my other synths have decksaver covers so I sincerely hope they can do one for DMNO as its a striking looking beast (I went for the grey option).

Honestly I was pretty happy with the bag that it came with, and just throwing it on top in between sessions. A giant rigid polycarbonate heavy decksaver for such a large synth sounds kind of crazy to me compared to a lightweight cloth. A decksaver is insufficient for road transport, so I don’t see the opportunity for them to provide any benefit in between a hard road case when traveling and a lightweight cloth in the studio.

The only upgrade to the lightweight cloth that has appealed to me is a simple sliding under-desk keyboard drawer that would probably work better in a studio for protecting the system and keeping it out of the way when not in use.

You say that because you do not have kids running around the house throwing random objects haha. I have already asked Deck saver company about it. They mentioned something like that they are investigating it… I am sure they will get it done sooner or later. But great shout. The more people request it the more likely we will see it sooner. As soon as it becomes available I order.

True! I can see the appeal of an armor layer more when kids are running around :sweat_smile:
