Hi,
It could be interesting to have here somewhere one topic per synth/firmware type that recapitulates post by post chronologically each firmware, what functionalities it added and what bugs it fixed.
This could be useful for prospecting users, but owners too, to be able to have somewhere the complete list of all firmware versions, as the web presents somehow everything without a clear historical vision, so some discussions/videos can report old bugs that are already fixed, or feature requests that are already fulfilled.
This could quite easily be done by just posting the successive release notes of each firmware.
If possible, I’d keep these topics as a read only ones if possible, to keep them clean of any comments/answers, so they stay a clear and concise reference.
I think this can be useful and help a lot of people looking for the current state of development, as the UDO website offers only the last firmware to download.
What do you think of this?
Another idea:
I don’t know if internally you are using something like Git or even Github for your code, but maybe this could be used to report, explain, follow and close feature requests/bug reports as it is usually done on opensource projects, just here we could simply have the bin file and release notes pushed to Github with a version number, and attached to it, some closed requests/fixes that this firmware release offer.
