Hi,
I have a Squarp Hapax, which is an MPE capable, polyphonic sequencer, and would love to be able to use it to sequence a Super 6. However:
- The Hapax only supports either vanilla MIDI or MPE, not non-MPE polyphonic aftertouch.
- I cannot find a clear, direct answer as to whether the Super 6 outputs MPE. I know it responds to it on its MIDI input, but neither the manual nor anything I can find online say for certain whether or not it will - with the ST49 keyboard fitted, of course - transmit MPE data from the per-note pressure.
I’d love to be able to record & play back MIDI data from the Super 6 using the Hapax, including per-note expression, and use it as an MPE controller for MIDI-to-CV or VSTs hosted in a DAW.
So, simple question. In MPE mode, does the Super 6 with ST49 keyboard output MPE data on its MIDI out?
