My DDS1 sounds noticeably worse than DDS2

I know they are generated differently, but my DDS1 sounds so much dirtier and thinner than DDS2 on the same waveforms. The noise is also a thin little whisper, not even as loud as the bleed I am getting from the next waveform in line.

is this.. normal behaviour? Or should I look at returning.

Can you do a recording for comparison? Do init patch and set for example dds1 and dds2 to saw, and manually turn mix between them.

Here is a link to a recording.

Three note chord, both sawtooth, first with DDS1 and then DDS2 second. Then a sweep from DDS1 to DDS2

Note, the quality gets worse and worse on DDS1 the lower the note is, while DDS2 stays perfect. I guess this is normal behaviour because dds1 is sample based?

Same on mine so that is normal behaviour. DDS2 is algorithmic so DDS1 behaves a bit different. DDS1 also has a bit lower gain (probably to compensate for super mode).

Thank you, your help is much appreciated

If behaviour is normal then I’m happy, It seems the sawtooth is the only wave I feel sounds worse anyway. Still very happy with the synth overall.
