Is it possible to pan the layers when not in Binaural? If not that would be a really cool feature potentially giving an even more insane option for width.
So far so not - you have the pan spread control only (shared with lfo 1 phase) that controls the width of the ping-pong effect in non-binaural mode.
I have requested non-binaural panning like so: when in non-binaural mode, and Spread is set to zero, shift+Mix=Pan knob could be used to set the layer to have a constant pan location, rather than the ping pong mode of the Spread function.

I would also like it as a mod destination. I like to pan voices like they’re being played on a piano sometimes, dancing across the stereo field as their pitches rise. Note to Pan!
I would love to be able to pan when not in binaural mode as well. I love the sound of retuning the left from the right side, to a fine degree, which creates binaural beats. The only way to do this on the Super 8 is to pan one layer to the left and the other to the right, (which is something that can only be done in binaural mode, which seems a little silly because once you pan a layer to a side it is no longer binaural, and it just ends up wasting voices. Like to have a binaural detuned as in binaural beats synth, the super 8 becomes a 4 voice synth.)
I had one of these on my pedalboard and it has moved onto the top left empty space on my SG to do exactly this panning job. Also good for overall levels of the layers too, rather than having to match those within patches. It’s not perfect…as it’s four separate channels, rather than two stereo pairs but that does have some advantages as well. It’s also slightly too big for the panel but it’s working for me at the moment!
