Hi,
I tried to play a bit with the sequencer; recorded 8 steps, then put Arp/sequencer ON, used voice on HOLD, and so transposing the sequence by playing different keys. Perfect!
Now I want to introduce some rests into the sequence while it plays transposed/held; well, as soon as I go into the rest section with the TRACK button, the sequence playing is played back on middle C (C4), and plays back again transposed when quitting rest edition…
This is not very melodic nor performance oriented. I mean, one can ‘only’ rest/unrest one of the sequence step while playing it by having it played back at its middle C default base note…
Am I doing something wrong, or is it the intended behaviour?
And if so, do you think it is the best one?
I would find it way more useful if I could have the sequence playing, have it held and transposed, quickly jump in rest/slide/accent, modify some steps with the sequence continuing to be played at the last base key played, then out of the TRACK to transpose it on a new key, and so on.
What do you think?
