I’ve been playing with a Super 6 Desktop for a couple of days. It had been defaulting to MIDI Channel 1 as expected. However, perhaps because of something I did without realising, every time I now switch the device off and on, it defaults to communicating over MIDI Channel 9, so I have to enter the global settings to switch it to 1 each time if that’s how my other devices are set up. Is there a process for changing the startup default?
After changing MIDI channel back to 1, wait at least 30s without interacting with the instrument. The new global setting gets stored to non volatile memory and will be recalled on power up. You can also default the global settings by holding MANUAL button 5s
