This seems like a nice midi controller without keys
Well seriously, I would love to see the integration Omnisphere has with hardware synths for the Super Six (it allows one to control elements of Omnisphere with the hardware; itās sort of a bit more than just mapping MIDI to the controls I think). I donāt know who approaches whom with that or, of course, whatās involved under the hood but that would be a quite nice touch.
Iād like an UDO display too - just to show patch librarian, mod matrix, current slider setting, etc
So where is that UDO Midi Keyboard, with midi/cv focused performance controls on the left (not too much) and ribbon control on top? In dark grey. Iāll take one!
I am in the market for a new midi keyboard. I will hold out for a bit and see if a UDO one appears. I agree, high quality and very minimal would be great. I would buy this.
My ideal spec would be 5 octave poly after touch, minimal controls. Ideally fairly shallow but with some generic attachment points on the back to attach laptop shelves, music rests etc if wanted. I would prefer the control strip as an upgrade to keep costs down. Just in an ideal world also in white.
Yeah, I agree. The control strip makes more sense as an upgrade and keeping the keyboard as slim as possible. But 5 octaves, poly aftertouch, and a metal build are a must.
But do not forget firmwares that fix main bugs, offer the features planned, and some more that are eagerly awaited by us :-).
Iāve had some variety of flu lately, lots of wonderful fever and a few hallucinations including that UDO released an add-on board for the entire super line that gave DDS1 a huge 180mb of sample memory in the style of the original Nord Wave.
Much sadness when I came back down to earth. Well, some sadness - itās great to be healthy and of sound mind and body and all that
A program to exchange customers SG with a synth that works
The only bug fix we need
Before George and the UDO team make anymore synths they really need to ensure that the software issues highlighted in this and other forums are fully addressed as the general message internet if full of negative comments " great sound but buggy as hell etc" In these skint days anyone trying to sell a high end synth must be struggling, not sure who would spend £2 / 3 K plus on a synth which in the public eye is seen as buggy and unreliable
I donāt have any bugs on my synth. Sometimes, the filter control doesnāt respond but I havenāt reported it. Overall, itās pretty solid. Still looking for the drum/sample machine based on fpgas.
