Since UDO didnt include a proper modwheel, again, AND since the DMNO has a dual layer thing going, in theory the ribbon should be a great companion. I am assuming the intelligent pitch expression hasnt been implemented yet? And has anyone checked if there is enough space between the keys and the controls?
I really wish UDO implemented a latching mode for modulation instead of just snapping back to zero in a relative way. Im sure they can implement that if they can implement the dual pitch thing, but it would have to be a firmware only native on UDO synths
Based on the information that is available online for the measurements, my opinion is that it will barely fit above the key-bed but don’t quote me on this. The problem with my calculation is that the text below the modules may be covered up in order to fit, or the RBN-1 will hang slightly over the key-bed. As always, make your own assessments.
I can’t get the rbn-1 to work with the dmno. Ive powered down, connected the rbn-1 to the dmno then powered back up with no luck. In the videos I watched for the super 6, you have to hold down button 6 when powering up. Ive also tried assigning expression pedal in mod matrix and that didn’t seem to work either. Any advice would be much appreciated !
I dont think the intelligent pitch feature from the Supers is implemented yet. Regular expression should work. are you plugged in to the expression input with the correct cable? I have been using regular expression pedals and routing expr in the mod matrix just fine.
