Feature Request for ST 49 Super 6 Firmware

Hello there! I am really loving my ST49 update for my Super 6, but I have a quick firmware idea I wanted to throw out to @udo-audio and @DDS - could we have a setting to toggle monophonic/polyphonic aftertouch? Using it with sequencers that don’t support poly aftertouch means that there is not aftertouch at all, now. I know it’s a little odd but it would be appreciated!

I had the same idea instantly after trying poly AT. It is so different, and for some patches i think i would actually prefer the response to be monophonic.

Also, fixed pitch bend range of 2 notes isn’t my favourite. A way to set a few other options, ideally 0, 5 and 7 semitones would be most welcome.

That would be great!

yes!!! That is a great idea!!!

+1 … should be doable

I thought about it too

yes, i noticed when ST49 was installed that the range of aftertouch to pitch was not settable to a full octave as before, maybe i missed a firmware. ANYWAY - feature request from me… I wonder if the Supertouch keybed can consistently track the key velocity… this would allow for some very interesting results! Also, if the velocity could be latched per key whilst in the arpeggiator? Anyway, food for thought.

So UDO is now releasing an S6ST49 preassembled.
I do think they should either warn people you partly use functionality with ST49, you cannot do regular aftettouch, so synths that do not respond to this will no longer receive aftertouch from the S6 keys, and in non binaural mode, aftertouch is not useable on the synth itself, because of the messed up behaviour (only alternate voices respond)

Either state this information clearly, or fix it in a firmware update plz, UDO!
