Feature Request: visual indicator for saved value

When editing a saved patch I would like to have a visual indicator when the saved value is the same as the current value being edited. Perhaps the manual button can simply blink once the saved value has been reached.

Probably some kind of dup/addition to "Catch up" mode support for Super 6? Feature idea/suggestion

Very good idea! I’m sure George will like it as well.
Yep, short blink of the Manual button should do the trick.

Only just acquired my Super 6 - loving the sound and the hands-on nature of it. Would love this feature (flash of manual button when matching saved value). Similar feature orks a treat on the Prophet 5 next to it.

Really hoping to see this in the new firmware

…or another solution might be to reverse the mentioned edit mode blink:
Manual says:
“As soon as a patch-related parameter is changed, the LED of the currently lit numbered button (1-8) will start flashing, indicating that you are in edit
mode.”
What I mean is: the moment you change a setting of a specific rotary switch, rotary control, fader, button, or toggle switch the current patch number led will start flashing(as explained above and in the manual), but if you then reach the original/saved setting/value/position again, it stops flashing and is lit permanently again
…just thinking…
maybe “easier” to implement - I really don’t know

I was really hoping for this too. Seems like a purposeful omission. If this is an intentional choice and not coming in a future update, it would be nice to know so we can stop waiting for it.

Agree with this one - Fader/knob catch-up mode plus current value indication.

As goodweather says - when you hit the value in the current patch for any control you are adjusting the Manual LED should momentarily light up.

Yes, this is the way I was hoping it would work as well. No blink means you’re back to baseline.

Putting in a vote for this as well. +1

This is what I replied to a post on Gearspace after seeing yet another comment comparing the Super 6 white module to a Star Wars console, this time the Millennium Falcon’s.

“As of 2025, we’ve observed that while the Millennium Falcon’s navigation system had indicators for returning to course after drifting, the Super 6 does not.”

I am still hoping for its implementation.
