Midi Clock sync w/hardware

I have tried everything to get the midi clock sync, but still no luck. Sending midi clock out from Beat Step Pro and it syncs to all my other synths but S6, any thoughts?

It’s a known issue. They are trying to fix it in the next firmware update. So I’ve been told. When…. Who knows

Same experience here. I can sometimes get it to work with Ableton, only to load a different session or track and then the midi clock sync/send from ableton stops working. Probably my main gripe about an otherwise immaculate synth because it makes recording any arp/sequenced patches in time so hard because there’s no screen for exact bpm setting on the synth. I haven’t tried to do any arp/sequence live, but I imagine it would be an even more glaring/disqualifying problem there.

Also been waiting for this fix. Would be nice if they fixed it in a quick update. We don’t have to wait for all the new goodies in the Desktop version.

Yeah it’s getting to the point where I’m not using it because I’m having midi issue. Temped to sell so I can actually get work done. Hope they drop this update soon. Would be such a waste

That would be a shame but you gotta do what you gotta do. It’s strange that this vital part of the system has not been fixed :frowning: although I am still able to use it without that. George seems to be the main - only? - guy who does the software and I think he gets a bit overstretched at times.

Hi chaps,

0,27 is less than a week away now and has had a major overhaul of the clock and transport system. Its an area that has been weak on the Super 6 but I’m confident you’ll be happy with the new system. You should find it’s now ‘plug and play’ and much work has been done to make it a team player in setups. It also adds the option to be able to record the individual note outputs from the arp and sequencer.

Great addition for layering synths or fine-tuning the arp later in a DAW.
