New SG Owner + a question Dual mode

New SG owner here from Sweden since a couple of days, what a fantastic instrument! Visited Udo’s bungalow at the latest Superbooth probably 4 times and got to play the synths and talk to the really nice guys from Udo (including George). After that I decided to go for the SG
Spent some hours with the SG now and maybe I’ve missed this: When in Dual mode, is it possible to turn off the keyboard input for one of the layers? For example, start an arp in the upper layer, switch to the lower layer and play over the arp without triggering any notes for the arp. I could do this with another synth I used to have, very handy. Maybe it’s possible to do this using Split on the lowest key?

Yes, that’s how Hazel Mills did it in one of her videos: use the synth in split mode, set the arpeggiator going on the lower layer, then set the split point as the lowest key which lets you play the keys using only the upper layer.

Great, thanks! Will try it tonight. Still think it would be very useful to have the possibility to quickly switch on and off keyboard input using the layer keys, perhaps with a longer press?
