I’d like to know if someone has already tried the Lehle Dual Expression pedal on the Super Gemini for expression, aswell as for volume (not both plugged on the same pedal, I mean)?
And also, as I don’t know if latching or unlatching footswitches would be best, again did someone uses the Roland FS-5U/L or FS-6 for hold and freeze? FS-6 seems the mosre interesting offer, as one can later decide the behaviour of the switches…
i’m using the FS-6 on my SG. Works as it should. Build quality is great.
Only downside i see is that it has no “real” on/off switch. To save battery life i have to unplug it everytime i stop using the SG.
I use the Lehle for both volume and expression, no issues. It can be tricky to feather the volume changes so it’s not too abrupt. But everything works great out of the box.
The pedal itself is built like a tank, so it feels like you’re getting your money’s worth. I’m considering getting a 2nd so I can have both expression and volume at the same time.
My concern was that, as the Super Gemini is supposed to auto-detect polarity when booting, but the Lehle Expression seems also to try and detect something when booting, I was wondering what would happen.
What do you boot first, the Synth or the pedal, and does it matter?
Do you use the 10K or the 50K jack?
Did you have to parameter something on the Lehle?
I just ordered the Gemini, and will first try and handle this super beast of a synth more or less, then I’ll add the switches and pedal. Ready to invest on the Lehle for quality, Hall effect sensor and the rest, but only if it works perfectly with the synth.
