Someone on the FB group was asking for a Super 6 cheat sheet, with all the SHIFT functions etc. so I put this together today. Please feel free to add anything I have missed, in the comments below, and I’ll add it to this first post.
Also, if anyone has design skills and would like to make a nicely formatted .pdf version, please go ahead! I’d be happy to host it.
UDO SUPER 6 CHEAT SHEET
FADERS:
LR PHASE sets PAN SPREAD in 12 voice mode
SHIFT + PW sets DRIFT amount

SHIFT + VCA LFO1 sets LFO2 to modulate VCA in keyboard version
SHIFT + ENV1 ATTACK sets ENV1 ATTACK HOLD time in desktop version
SHIFT + ENV1 DECAY sets ENV1 DECAY HOLD time
SHIFT + ENV2 DECAY sets ENV2 DECAY HOLD time
BUTTONS:
SHIFT + MANUAL loads INIT patch
SHIFT + U.SIZE sets UNISON STACKING:
1 LED 3 voices stacked
2 LED 6 voices stacked
3 LED 6 voices stacked in an octave
4 LED 6 voices stacked as an octave and a fifth
5 LED 6 voices stacked as a major chord
SHIFT + EXT CLK sets EXTERNAL CLOCK mode ON or OFF plus:

PATCH SELECT BUTTON 3: Arpeggiator & Sequencer output MIDI
SHIFT + SWING sets SWING AMOUNT
SHIFT + LOAD + PATCH/BANK SELECT loads a Sequence from 1-16
SHIFT + STORE + PATCH/BANK SELECT saves a Sequence to 1-16
SHIFT + MOD ASSIGN clears all mapped modulation

SHIFT + LFO1 SHAPE Load currently selected DDS1 wave as LFO1 wave
DDS 2 range to LFO, DDS 2 switch to AUDIO IN, SHIFT and MIX set audio input level
SHIFT + ENVELOPE KEYTRACK enables Keytracking for both envelopes
POWER ON with TUNE button held, move MIX to make DDS2 audible, play note and adjust DDS TUNE knob to be in tune with DDS1, release TUNE button and key, move DDS2 TUNE knob to +6 and back to centre, leave for 30 seconds to calibrate DDS2 tuning
POWER ON with PATCH held to disable write protection for PATCH, WAVEFORM and SEQUENCE management via USB PATCH drive
POWER ON with SHIFT held to enter Bootloader mode for firmware updates via USB BOOT drive
INIT PATCH SETTINGS:
init_patch.s6 can be replaced on the BOOT disc with any patch
If no init_patch.s6 is present S6 boots to last active patch
If no init_patch.s6 is present and no patches are stored S6 boots to MANUAL mode
Great job putting this together.
One thing, is it sensible to distinguish “shift mode” from actually holding down shift? Such as copying DDS1 shape to LFO1 is holding shift, but other things, such as changing unison stack is in “shift mode” (does this actually work while holding shift too? I got uncertain whilst typing this).
It might also be worth adding a pictorial representation of the clock divide values shown briefly as lit button patterns as you sweep the Tempo knob. And is it me or does it seem weird there’s a dotted 32nd note but no actual 32nd available? (With all the buttons lit you’d think maybe that would represent 32nd notes, given half of them lit correspond to 16ths.)
They are all just copied from the latest version of the manual. I haven’t tried them all out yet, but there’s a chance they are not implemented in the OS yet, like the Mix as a modulation destination. I’ll make some changes to the OP tomorrow and add (NOT IMPLEMENTED YET???) etc.
Hermetch - thanks for putting this together. I translated this over to a google sheet for my own reference and use. I’m happy to share it with the wider community here if folks are interested. If people want to suggest edits/updates to make it a living doc, permissions on the doc are open for comments -
Thanks for doing this, I had been meaning to update my original post with all the great suggestions posted here, but got snowed under with the mastering (my day job). This is great, I was hoping it would turn into a bit of a community project!
No worries, probably needs to be updated a bit for the new firmware revs. If anyone has time to go through and post what has changed in the intervening firmware since last November, and post it here, I’ll go back and edit the original post.
