The gemini_os_v1.22_59fe is the one. No extra folder inside that one unless your unzip created it.
Non of these if youâd ask me - these files are for the Super Gemini. Or did I miss something?
Heh, I missed this was the Super 6 section. Get the Super 6 firmware.
Maybe your unzip ignores characters after the dot character when creating the subfolder to extract files in. If you started with an empty folder just use the unzipped files.
That was the missing part. On the other hand, thereâs still the weird behavior when transition from S&H to a ramp in free mode while holding keys down.
this would be fairly game changing⌠also the potential to load 2 waveforms and scan between them on DDS1 too like on the super gemini
That will never happen on this instrument.
Tested 1.2.
Mix and mod - works perfectly.
Chorus - works perfectly.
LFO curves steeper as in 1.0.
Overall feels like sporadic bugs from 1.1 were fixed, mix mod makes this instrument insanely more powerful. Thanks George and UDO team.
Can we ask for note as the modulation source (like on desktop) and voice panning? DDS1 left, DDS2 right, would it be possible?
Bummer. What an option that would be
I personally love having mix as a mod destination. Try setting DDS2 to noise and DDS1 to anything, set DDS2 to keyboard split mode, and modulate the mix with either LFO1 or the envelope. It really brings pad sounds to life, particularly in binaural mode.
(Posted in the beta section first, thought might be nice to share here as wellâŚ)
Thoughts on v1 (technically v1.2)

PLUS:
+Mix as mod source, game changer!
+LFO1 - The square and random waves respond without noticeable slew, making classic S&H techniques possible, great!
+New swing settings - very useful, especially the first setting is very delicate, reminds me of the subtlest swing setting on the TR-909.
+Round robin works as expected with predictable L-R bounce in Poly modes. Sounds amazing with the drift feature!

THE SO-SO
ENV2 key tracking setting - a bit unintuitive implementation, with shift+keytrack toggling ENV2 to bypass the ENV1 key tracking setting or not, with âONâ meaning key track off.
A better approach would be to have shift+keytrack directly set the ENV2 key tracking rate (off, 1/2, on), and completely separate it from the ENV1 tracking setting.

MINUS
â The implementation of portamento in Poly modes is a little bit broken âŚ
The behavior seems to be that each voice card remembers its own âlast note playedâ. This makes playing phrases with repeatable glide between played notes virtually impossible. Depending on last note stored for a specific voice, each consecutive note might play with an up glide, down glide, or no glide.
This also makes portamento a bit of a hit or miss when playing the arpeggiator or the sequencer in Poly mode. For example, any arpeggio where the number of notes held is divisible by 3 (3, 6, etc) wont have any portamento effect.
If I remember correctly, it already worked well with the version shipped with the synth in late 2020, so would be great to see this being adressed.
Ooh first!!! New firmware released! 1.3
this seems to be one of the most active chats about super 6 firmware⌠i wonder if anyone is feeling the same as me and wants to have reverse sawtoothâs available on LFO1 and DDS2 for more reliable modulation timing.
Couple other things is more LFO2 waveforms would be absolutely amazing.
Preset value change indication (a way to assist you with decoding a patch, some sort of light based indication that you have matched the previously saved value)
Delay send instead of delay level option
Lastly, whilst i am living in âfeature request cityâ⌠Wavetable scanning would be an amazing ability for the S6 to acquire!
i nearly forgot, arpeggiator to have an âassignâ or âplayedâ mode which the notes play back in the order they were entered.
also for the LFO to have rhythmâs would be bloody amazing too!
not asking for too much from George and the team am i?
I love my Super 6 in White
