Some good news!
But first of all a bit of history about what happened since December…
By adapting the ML XD editor, I discovered an issue with xml loading in the last CtrlrX 5.6.34 that my fellows CtrlrX colleagues could quickly solve. This is a key feature for the S8G as well.
I also discovered another issue that I could also quickly solve. So days were passing…
I have now converted all my simple editors and patch mappers to 5.6.34 and it went well.
Will now update the manuals so I can provide them to users.
I have also adapted the S8G editor and I’m currently finalizing the adaptation of the S6 one.
As this topic is related to the S8G, during the coming weeks I will concentrate back on the S8G.
I remember there were issues with the Midi output for the two layers (also due to old version of Ctrlr) so need to look at that.
Once I will have reviewed most functionalities, I’ll resend a test version to @trond.olsen.
As usual, I’ll keep you posted about progress or blocking issues (hopefully none anymore).

Will be a complete game changer for the Gemini when this is released shame this young man has so little help with this project. Here we are well over a year since the project was announced.. Such a shame UDO hasnt made this a priority themselves, makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Already added all changes that are common to all my editors.
Now re-focusing on the specific S8G stuff.

Just out of curiosity, why name it and focus on the S8G when the Super Gemini has out sold it 20 to 1?
Surely S8G stands for Super 8/Gemini so both are included.

If you have a Super 8, you can enjoy the look of the Super Gemini and opposite
