Hello,
My usb is has suddenly stopped connecting, the Super 8 hard drive doesn’t work and USB midi isn’t connected.
I’ve tried various cables, different ports on my mac but no luck.
I also tried restarting holding down Patch and also tried restarting holding down Shift, but alas, nothing works.
What’s strange is that yesterday it was working.
I’m in desperate need of help please, does anyone has any advice or a fix?
I wanted to add that it also is not working on a pc laptop.
is this not happened to anyone else? 
The only thing I can think of is to make sure that you haven’t connected the 5-pin DIN Midi when using USB Midi. Then manual states that simultaneous connections are not supported.
Do not know why UDO synths seem to have difficulties communicating with MacBooks. A few years ago I had a similar issue with my S6 and my old MacBook Pro (running Logic) not always wanting to talk to each other , absolute nightmare at the time ( had to move away from staring at a screen for hours on end due to eye health issues and now use an MPC for sequencing ) . For me there is still the ongoing nightmare related to method you have to use to simply update your UDO O/S or load / save banks of patches if you use a Mac.
