I know a lot of the smaller companies make a major point to interact with their customers. It’s a pity from my POV UDO doesn’t. George was involved here earlier, but just based on his comments in various demo videos, I don’t think they take constructive criticism well. There’s always a little defensive undertone when I’ve interacted with them.
That’s a shame, I haven’t seen any comments here made in bad faith over the years, just folks who want help UDO make as good a synth as possible. But having done design work, I get how it can be very taxing to deal with outside input.
Not that I know better than anyone else, but it feels to me more of a philosophical stance than a financial one.
