Will there be any way to expand the wave list in Super 6?

Currently the Super 6 has two banks of 16 waves. One bank is solid light LED, the other bank is flashing light LED.

Is there memory space, or coding, that could allow for four banks? Because UDO releases two more waveform packs that expand the sound design options.

Maybe something like solid light, slow flashing, fast flashing, then irregular time flashing, so we could add the other banks?

I think the interface prevents a lot of user requests (like wavetable scanning). I have seen synth designers get pressured into adding features that don’t feel seamless and just make things more confusing; I don’t want the Super 6 to fall victim to that. But this one seems relatively easy to add from my perspective.

This is an excellent suggestion, though knowing nothing about programming, it’s possible it could be too big a re-write of the Super 6’s code. Many other feature requests on here may be impossible, for the same reason. I get the impression UDO made certain design decisions, and allowed for certain changes, without altering the software. More like changes to hidden settings. Tell me if I’m wrong, anyone.

There’s also a certain beauty in having a few well selected waves that one gets to know very well

Never underestimate the power of smart limitations
