ARP tempo drifting when adjusting filter decay & filters

Hey everyone,

I’ve noticed a strange issue with the ARP on my Super 6. When I have the ARP active and start adjusting the frequency or resonance, combined with tweaking the decay of ENV1 and ENV2, the ARP starts drifting in tempo, lagging, and behaving unpredictably.

This happens whether I’m using the internal clock or an external clock source, so it doesn’t seem to be related to sync settings. Has anyone else experienced this? Any ideas on what could be causing it or how to fix it?

I have recorded a short snippet that you can listen to here:

Thanks!

I have the same problem with tempo, changing all the time for no reason. And if I press sync and turn on delay, I can clearly hear the delay changing pitch according to tempo change.

Yeah, same issue here. Arp tempo will sometimes lag when adjusting env or delay sliders.
Also some positions of the tempo know seems prone to unstable tempo, causing arp tempo to switch between divisions, leds blinking back and forth.

Solved by updating to the latest firmware! @Pieropeet @Shike

I am on firmware 1.6, is there a newer version available?

It might be a processing issue when using the ARP with envelope tweaks. Try reducing simultaneous mods or updating the firmware.

Synchronising the arp to MIDI or any tempo really is absolutely unreliable as I’ve been saying for months and it’s an absolute disgrace that UDO isn’t taking care of it. It’s not some niche application or special case, we’re talking about an absolute matter of course. If you have the time and inclination, write to support@udo-audio.com so that they are made aware of it; otherwise, nothing seems to happen.
