Yeah I think they are aiming for much later in August.
I believe v1.0 is required for the new keybed to function. It’s at the bottom of the patch notes. I have yet to install v1.2 which I think just came out. v1.0 has been rock solid for me.
We are ready to send out the first SuperTouch kits next week and we should be able to ship all preorders by the end of the month thankfully. You will need to have the latest firmware installed. There’ll be a further version 1,3 coming out next week with minimal changes just to the calibration of the touch response.

Happy to hear things are advancing. Really looking forward to the upgrade! PolyAT fits perfectly the S6 sound (to make the high notes wobble while lower ones are more steady). The S6 hardware is so top-notch, it really calls for nice keys.

Seems like another missed deadline, UDO promised two weeks ago that they were about to drop a new OS on us week ending 16th Aug which would enable the Poly AT key-bed to work .
Just checked and no update yet so not really surprised that no one has received their kit.
Suspect that UDO will provide the new OS a week before they start shipping the kit.
Also, am I the only one to notice that in the very recent UDO news ‘letter’ no mention was made of the S6 upgrade kit, would have expected something as its a major upgrade for S6 owners and shows the synth market that UDO are offering owners an considerable upgrade to what is arguably an out of date instrument , defiantly not the ‘new kid on the block’.
My guess would be that they’re probably still working out some last minute bugs. Also the site still has the news keybed as a pre order.
I’m highly interested in the upgrade, but would it be possible for the unit to transmit poly aftertouch to other synths over the midi-out ports?
New OS now available to down load so suspect the key-bed and related control board will be shipped out very soon.
As asked above, I would be shocked if poly AT could not be transmitted via MIDI to another Synth however what the receiving synth engine will do with the message will depend totally on its ability or not to understand poly AT messages.

Is there by any chance a midi MPE output mode too? On some MPE capable synths it can be easier to integrate the poly aftertouch on separate MPE channels vs the poly aftertouch messages on a single channel.
@danny it doesn’t support MPE midi output mode at the moment. However this is a good consideration, @DDS please can you log this in our database thanks

Anybody received theirs in the UK/London yet? If so did you get any kind of heads up on the delivery day?
This would be a really big plus for me (and I’m sure lots of others) as I don’t have any other MPE controllers and would really like to be able to control soft synths with it.
