Super 6 DDS2 modulation of VCF with different waveforms

Unlike the SG, the Super 6 does not allow DDS2 to modulate the VCF with the selected waveform, the modulation is always set to triangle.

It would be awesome to be able to use the saw or pulse wave shapes to FM the filter (similar to Poly-Mod on the Prophet 5)

You can essentially do that with the LFO1, keytracked and in audio rate

hey there, do you mean in LFO mode or when it is in regular key tracking mode?

In LFO mode - you can select the wave form and it does change. Also when not in LFO mode.. i believe the wave form does also change. Perhaps re-try this and come back. Going to experiment and see if i agree with you. Fairly sure this is incorrect and the waveform on DDS2 does in fact change in terms or FM to the filter.

i apologize for doubting you.. yes! It is unfortunate that it is only triangle in audio rate mode! Behaviour in LFO mode is also a little ofd that the waveforms restart on each new key press but they are a quarter way through the cycle making it not as easy to use for sync’d rhymthic modulation. LFO1 does make up for this.. But DDS2 could be a place to focus some efforts @udo-audio ?
