That’s what I mean, if you do the borrow thing on the noise shape you just get a tone, that’s in hi freq mode
@minimaltom the noise wave is generated be an LFSR circuit. In DDS1 it is slightly different to DDS2 and the sound of DDS2 noise is “rougher” and DD1 “lighter and smoother”. Unfortunately these aren’t waves so can’t be copied to LFO1 BUT in random mode on LFO1 if you push frequency to max it switches to noise wave. It’s still very much on my list to make the tube control adjust noise “colour” when noise wave is selected

I discovered this feature the other day. Pleasantly surprised to see that the random lfo goes into audio rate. Sounds good modulating the filter. I like the noise color on tune pot idea. Maybe white, red, and metallic squares for some 808 hats?
