The mix mod is a game changer, has really opened up the S6 in some lovely ways. Thanks team for working that out, must have been a headache
Strong work team! Hopefully we get wavetable scanning down the road in future firmware updates
explain how the vca is allowing the same functionality as the delay send on the Super Gemini?
currently disagreeing with you on this topic as i feel delay send is a far more useful default function, perhaps it can be a global setting to allow for both options, either delay level (as currently works) or delay send (as it works on the Super Gemini/Super8
Any updates regarding new firmware development on the S6? The baby needs some love… Can the @udo-audio team share anything? The still some bugs present in the current FW and it’s generally quite wonky for me.
Aye, sending chords to the S6 when the arpeggiator is being externally clocked is wonky for me via DIN & USB MIDI. It’s just not predictable either.
I also never had any success with the usb connection
I love to see that you are also ‘refactoring’ trust me, it might feel like time that could have been used towards something else now. But it pays for itself in the long run.
Yes, I also would like to see that implemented:

Would love to see something like this on the SG as well, great idea.
To make life easier we do have Claude/Copilot/etc to help with the coding these days… they don’t always generate perfect code, but they do help
I’ve just popped up a new Gemini and Super 8 release. Super 6 is going to get some love next. Thanks! George
Now the S8 has a voice upgrade , any chance of something similar for the S6?
Judging from the Sonicsate Interview at Superbooth, nope. There’s also no extra slots left over on the inside i think. I really hope the Super6 will get some TLC firmware wise. Poly aftertouch really needs to get on point, especially when they are selling it the ST49 a built product
I’ve seen so many videos from Super Booth over the last couple of days, but didn’t George say S6 is next to get some love?
Yes, their first-born needs some love really
Thank you, George. As always you and your team are doing phenomenal work
All,
Sounds like we just need to be patient. The man himself says the love is coming. In an interview (SB 2025) George said he wants ALL of their synths to be expanded continuously with hardware and firmware upgrades. This was really so cool to hear and I’m excited for what the future holds.
Cheers!
I would love to see the “twinkle” update to be included (sound enhancement taken over from Gemini) and the ring modulation.
Please make it twinkle and ring!!!
what’s the Gemini ‘twinkle’?
Here it is described:

It was never carried over to S6. I personally like the high frequency sound of Gemini very much, but in S6 case, I hear slightly more distorted and not so defined sound. Together with the ring modulator it would be a nice package.
I’m pretty sure that is related to hardware design, gainstaging, VCA’s etc. Not something digital to be ported. I’ve wondered if the ringmod is analogue or digital on the Gem/S8. could be another implementation on the same VCA, and that would mean it’s also not transfereable to the Super6. I quite like the timbres i can get from modulating the VCA as is, though. I don’t feel like i’m missing much or want more features, myself. Just some optimisation and bugfixes.
